Housing Stability &
Essential Utilities Navigation

Our proposed starting point is practical, respectful help connecting Naples and Collier County residents to established housing and utility assistance providers.

Current program status
IHRPS is not currently accepting assistance applications, distributing rental or utility payments, or providing case management. Funding, staffing, eligibility procedures, secure systems, and formal service partnerships must be established before launch.

Understand available options

Proposed education about rental assistance pathways, household energy support, and provider requirements.

Make connections easier

Proposed support with finding the right provider, preparing for appointments, and navigating authorized applications after the program opens.

Build lasting community support

Develop a responsible plan informed by residents, qualified service providers, and accountable financial oversight.

Independent community resources

Start with the providers
serving your community.

You can contact these organizations directly. Links are for information and do not establish an IHRPS partnership, endorsement, or eligibility for assistance. Provider capacity and funding may change.

Housing & rental resources

Review Collier County’s housing assistance information and current program status. The county assistance page reviewed on October 17, 2026 lists its HOME Tenant Based Rental Assistance and ARP household assistance programs as closed. Check directly for changes and other options.

If a deadline is approaching
Contact the relevant provider promptly. If you have an eviction notice or court papers, seek qualified legal help; do not wait for this proposed program to open. For a pending utility shutoff, contact your utility directly about available options. Website enquiries do not suspend any deadline.

Resource information checked October 17, 2026. Follow provider links for current updates. IHRPS does not decide eligibility for external programs.

A responsible path forward

Our proposed development plan.

01 — LISTEN & PLAN

Learn from the community

Identify local access barriers, understand existing services, and design a manageable pilot with resident input.

02 — PREPARE & PARTNER

Establish accountable delivery

Confirm governance, appropriate registrations, financial controls, privacy safeguards, and qualified sponsorship or provider arrangements where needed.

03 — FUND & EVALUATE

Launch when ready

Pursue suitable grants and support. Begin a limited navigation pilot only after funding and operational approval, then assess results before expanding.

No grant award, fiscal sponsor, contracted provider relationship, or direct assistance fund is announced. Any future rental or utility payments would require separate funding, published eligibility rules, and verified payment procedures.
Community collaboration

Help shape a practical
local response.

We welcome general enquiries from prospective volunteers, community organizations, qualified fiscal sponsors, service providers, and funders interested in discussing this proposed initiative.
